The Pink Elephants Support Network

Our Partners

We are privileged to work in partnership with the following organisations to help us raise awareness, expand our support and broaden our reach within the community.

City Fertility

City Fertility is committed to excellence in reproductive medicine, research, and exceptional patient care. City Fertility's partnership with Pink Elephants underscores their commitment to supporting individuals throughout their fertility journey, and we are excited to work together to make a positive impact. Together, we aim to foster a community where everyone affected by miscarriage feels supported and understood.

City Fertility's dedication to comprehensive support extends beyond patient care with their new complimentary Fertility Benefits Program, designed to help workplaces enhance their staff's health and well-being. By integrating this program into the workplace, employers can ensure that their employees receive the assistance they need during their fertility journey, promoting a healthier, more supportive work environment.

We have always recognised the relationship between miscarriage and infertility and as such, are thrilled to be partnering with leading fertility specialists Genea to support both couples and healthcare professionals in the treatment of both these conditions.

At QBE, our purpose is to give people the confidence to achieve their ambitions. This extends to our own people, who are at the heart of what we do.

We recognise that becoming a parent is a significant milestone, and our commitment to being a family friendly employer enables our people to thrive and integrate career and family through our inclusive policies, practices and culture. The wellbeing of our people is our priority, and with 1 in 4 pregnancies ending in miscarriage, we are proud to partner with Pink Elephants to provide the support, tools and resources for our people and their partners during this difficult time of loss and grieving.

Tanarra Philanthropic Advisors

Tanarra Philanthropic Advisors is a national probono advisory service helping progressive charities and social purpose organisations achieve maximum potential for the sector they serve. It was founded by investment banker and philanthropist John Wylie AM in response to a gap in NFP access to high level business and strategic advice, the kind usually only available to the corporate sector. The organisation is known for posing the tough questions then delivering practical, actionable and impartial advice to improve effectiveness.

Tanarra Philanthropic Advisors is supporting the Pink Elephants Support Network for a number of reasons.  Firstly the cause of early pregnancy loss resonates with us and the organisation fills a distinct space as Australia’s only national charity solely dedicated to supporting those impacted by miscarriage. Secondly the leadership and board impressed us and continues to demonstrate their strengths by rolling up their sleeves and doing the hard yards.  Finally, our skill-set and their needs are a good match. We can see that our work could have a lasting impact without ongoing dependency.

The Leave for Loss Campaign – introduction of legislated bereavement leave (2 days) to support women who suffer miscarriage and their partners, is one simple but important way employers can recognise the trauma, stress and grief experienced at the loss of a baby.

Dandolo Partners

dandolopartners is a specialist public policy management consultancy. We work for organisations in and around government across Australia. We've a nearly twenty-year history of providing high quality, evidence based and nonpartisan advice.

It was our pleasure to offer pro bono support to Pink Elephants' Leave for Loss campaign for bereavement leave to recognise grief for early pregnancy loss. Early pregnancy loss is a tough and confronting reality for many Australians each year. It isn't talked about openly and frequently enough, and deserves to be more a part of public policy conversations too.

We were pleased that we could offer Pink Elephants analytically driven advice on the potential cost of introducing two days of bereavement leave for early pregnancy loss. It's important to acknowledge that a policy like this has a cost, but also to know that it is modest. We used our expertise in working through unstructured problems, combining data, logic and clear assumptions to provide an estimate of cost and we're confident this will serve Pink Elephants well in supporting its campaign.

3P Studio

With more than 20 years experience, 3P STUDIO crafts creative projects and campaigns from pre-production and offline through to finishing and delivery.

We are extremely proud to be supporting Pink Elephants with the production of content and explainer infographics to support their mission and enable Pink Elephants to reach more who need and deserve their support.
