As part of pregnancy and infant loss awareness month
I’m raising money to help support people who experience loss through the pink elephants support network. This amazing organization offer a great amount of support including a text chat service with someone who has experienced loss. It is a platform I have used at many occasions and found they had the best information out there as I was never really given any throughout my journey. I have experienced reoccurring miscarriage which affects 1 in 100 people and 1 in 3 people will have have a miscarriage which is far too many. This is something close to my heart and wish to make it something more talked about. I am super lucky to have amazing people around me who understand and support me. If you have never experienced this and struggle with how to help someone else cope. The pink elephants organization have information for the family and friends also. Sending my love to anyone who has been through or is going through this right now. You will get through this but you will not be the same person you were before. Loss changes you in many ways, giving you strength you didn’t think you would have to get through. But it 100% helps to talk to someone about it.
